The coil packs above (shown in a Megasquirt Bracket) have the plugs and leads shown as to which goes where. On the plug these are simply numbered for the 8 cylinders, on the plugs ABC & D refer to the EDIS 8 Wiring, the centre wires on both plugs are 12V use this picture and info in conjunction with the Coil Packs One. the 3.9 Serpentine Coil Pack bracket means you'll have to do a bit of thinking and working out - I will add a picture when I have time !
Here is a diagram of the wires that come from the ECU with indications of what each is used for.
The position of the trigger wheel is undertandably very important. The picture shows the relative positions of the trigger wheel's missing tooth and the sensor along with how the signal from the sensor is passed around by the various components
Note - In this Picture YOU are the Crankshaft looking out not Pulley !
EDIS 8 wiring shows coils to be connected to as ABCD these match with the Megasquirt V8 Coil Pack Picture above ABCD and then the plug leads from each Coil Tower to Plug. The "Pip" and "SAW" for the VR sensor need to be shielded cable, and yes not all the EDIS 8 wires are used, don't miss out the earth!

As with all Modifications you should advise and Check with your Insurance company, I am insured with Academy Insurance in Slough, and they were both helpful and noted the modification without any increase to premiums, Noted here as it is easy to forget - it IS a modification !
